Keystone Collect is a European card-collecting and trading house established in 1984. Our Keystone spirit holds that every rare card and every honest transaction is a vital stone in the arch of the collecting world. We are not merely an e-commerce platform — we are faithful stewards of European card culture.
From an Antwerp basement to the world
In 1984, in a narrow basement in Antwerp’s port district, young enthusiast Eric van Keystone opened the first Keystone Card Corner on his grandfather’s old poker table. Modern card culture was quietly rising across Europe. Grandfather Van Keystone had collected traditional Belgian playing cards and sports cards after the war, teaching his grandson: “A fine card is like a keystone — small, yet it keeps the whole arch from falling.” Eric carved those words above the door; Keystone became the family emblem.
When Magic: The Gathering reached Europe in 1993, Keystone Card Corner was flooded overnight. As Pokémon TCG stormed the continent from 1996–1999, we opened branches in Brussels, Ghent, Cologne, and Frankfurt — each keeping Antwerp’s oak counter, brass keystone sign, and the family rule: inspect the card before you pay.
For forty years we have never sold a counterfeit, never sent a collector home empty-handed. We entered the UK in 2005; Paris and Lyon followed in 2012, completing our Central and Western European network. In 2018 we launched Keystone Archive — private collection authentication for Europe’s most serious collectors.
In the 2020s, as collecting moved online, we brought forty years of European authentication and family service to Hong Kong as our global headquarters. In 2025, the Keystone Collect platform officially launches — Keystone Collect Limited, registered in Hong Kong, carrying the old-world keystone spirit to ACG and card lovers worldwide.
